Terms of Use of the TaskFLY App

These Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as "Terms") govern the use of the TaskFLY mobile application (hereinafter referred to as "Application") developed by AESA Investment OÜ (hereinafter referred to as "we", "us" or "our"). By using the Application, you agree to these Terms and undertake to comply with them. If you do not agree with the Terms, do not use the Application.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using TaskFLY ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

3. Description of Service

TaskFLY is a task management application for iOS that includes Pomodoro timer, AI assistant, friend system, calendar view, recurring tasks, statistics, and cloud synchronization features.

4. Pricing & Subscriptions

4.1 Freemium Model

Basic version: Free with a limit of 10 active tasks and 5 AI requests per day during the first 7 days of using the assistant; after that the AI assistant is available with TaskFLY PRO. TaskFLY PRO: €3.99/month with a 7-day free trial.

4.2 PRO Features

  • Unlimited tasks (no 10-task limit)
  • Up to 30 AI commands per day (free = 5/day for the first 7 days)
  • Longer AI prompts (1000 characters vs 500 in free)
  • Daily reminders with custom time/days
  • Default priority, category, and reminder settings
  • Priority support & early access to new features

4.3 Subscription Management

Subscriptions are billed monthly through Apple's App Store. You can cancel anytime in your App Store subscription settings. No annual plan is available.

5. User Accounts

Account creation is optional. You can use TaskFLY without an account (tasks stored locally). To use cloud sync and friend features, sign in with Google or Apple. No email/password registration is available.

6. AI Assistant Usage

The AI assistant uses Google Gemini (Gemini 2.5 Flash) and supports both text and voice input; voice replies are generated by Google Cloud Text-to-Speech in HD quality and are available in every version, including the free one. Free users get 5 requests/day during their first 7 days of using the assistant, with 500-character prompts; after that the assistant requires PRO. PRO users get up to 30 requests/day with 1000-character prompts. AI responses are for informational purposes only and should not be considered professional advice.

6.1 Referral Rewards

When you connect with a friend in the App, both accounts may receive a temporary AI bonus of +5 AI commands per day for 7 days. The bonus is granted once per friend pair, only if the newly invited account is less than 14 days old, and at most 3 times per calendar month per inviting user; a repeated bonus extends the bonus period instead of stacking. The bonus has no monetary value, is non-transferable and non-refundable. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the referral program at any time and to withhold bonuses in cases of abuse (e.g., fake or duplicate accounts).

7. User Content

You retain ownership of all tasks, notes, and content you create in the App. We do not claim any rights to your content. You are responsible for the content you share with other users through the friend system.

8. Prohibited Use

  • Reverse engineering or decompiling the App
  • Using the AI assistant to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content
  • Attempting to bypass subscription or usage limits
  • Sharing your account credentials with others

9. Limitation of Liability

TaskFLY is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AESA Investment OÜ is not liable for any data loss, service interruptions, or damages arising from the use of the App. We recommend maintaining your own backups of important data.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of significant changes through the App.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic and the European Union.
